Greetings from Prague! Sorry for the somewhat breathless nature of this 
letter, 
but this is the first day I've spent working on the computer after our 
successful mini-conference here (we're already planning another for next 
year). 

Yes, the server was offline for a week (!) while the DSL was being moved from 
NorthPoint (boo!) to Rhythms. I'm still evolving the web site to Zope, plus 
you'll start to see the new site design appearing soon, along with an online 
seminar registration system (no more faxing). So watch out for moving links!

Bill Venners (who teaches the Objects and Patterns seminar with me, and is one 
of the prime movers in the Jini community) has created the "Jini and 
Distributed 
Computing Seminar." You don't have to be a Jini programmer or know anything 
about Jini to take this seminar (but you do need to be a Java programmer). One 
of the most interesting aspects is the coached programming experiences, which 
comprise a significant part of the seminar -- you may want to take this just 
to 
polish your Java design and programming skills.

It will take place June 25-29 in Crested Butte, Colorado.

Registrations for the Thinking in Java Hands-on seminar will open soon. The 
seminar is expected to be sometime in mid-June as well, in the SF bay area.

The Java Enterprise Programming Seminar shows when, how and why to use the 
technologies in the Java2 Enterprise Edition. This exercise-intensive course 
covers EJBs, Servlets and JSPs.

The second iteration of the J2EE seminar (in Prague) was a big success; Andrea 
followed this with an in-house version in the London area. The next and improved 
edition will be in the San Francisco Bay area in mid-June. Registrations will
