4-13-03 Speaking tonight at SoftPro

I will be speaking tonight in the Boston area at SoftPro bookstore, on combining unit testing with design-by-contract. It's free, so come by if you get the chance.

About 100 people came and I think it went very well. There was even someone who is signed up to come to the Thinking in Patterns seminar in Prague, who explained that it was cheaper (and more interesting) for him to come to Prague for the seminar than to take a seminar in Boston.

I've been continuing to redo the examples in Thinking in Patterns during the seminar; yesterday I stripped out most of the cruft from the chain of responsibility example and now it's decent. Although the examples continue to improve, the prose is rather a shambles.
